The role will initially be office-based in Wickham, Southampton, before transitioning to a long term site-based projects across Brighton and Worthing. Working closely with the Managing Quantity Surveyor, the successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day commercial management across live projects, with exposure to both residential and large RC frame developments. Quantity Surveyor - Salary & Benefits Competitive salary up to £70,000 Mileage paid 23 days holiday + Bank Holidays Statutory pension Long-term career progression within a growing contractor Support from an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor Quantity Surveyor - Key Responsibilities include: Monitoring project costs and maintaining financial control Producing CVRs, cost reports, and forecasts Preparing and agreeing valuations Managing subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and accounts Identifying and managing variations and change control Liaising with site teams, clients, and consultants Supporting tendering and procurement activities where required Quantity Surveyor - Job Requirements Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within Groundworks and RC Frame projects Ideally 3+ years' experience (all levels considered up to senior) Strong knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts Ability to carry out take-offs independently Experience using Bluebeam, SharePoint, or similar systems Strong commercial awareness and organisational skills Full UK driving licence Bennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
