The Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Oversee procurement and subcontractor management
• Prepare and negotiate interim valuations and final accounts
• Monitor project performance and provide commercial reporting
• Identify and manage risks and opportunities
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within groundworks or civil engineering
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Excel, estimating tools, project management systems)
• Degree-qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or a related field
