Since the 2010s, this company has been delivering bespoke structural steel solutions across a range of industrial and commercial projects, alongside comprehensive project management services. Through continued success, they have grown to over 50 employees and achieved a multi-million-pound turnover. In this office-based role, you will work closely with the estimating team during the pre-construction phase, assisting with BOQs, tender submissions, and cost planning before taking ownership of the commercial aspects of projects through to completion. You will manage project budgets, monitor expenditure, carry out cost evaluations, prepare valuations, and liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal project teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively. This role would suit a Quantity Surveyor or similar from a structural steel background looking to broaden their commercial experience within the structural steel industry, while benefiting from specialist training and genuine long-term career progression.
