Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Northampton
Salary: 60k - 70k + Excellent Benefits

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction company seeking an ambitious Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen its commercial team in their Northampton office This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across the commercial, hospitality, stadia and specialist residential sectors while progressing your career within a supportive and growing business.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing the commercial and contractual aspects of projects from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring they are delivered profitably, on time and to the highest standards.

Working closely with clients, consultants and operational teams, you'll play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships while supporting the successful delivery of high-quality construction projects.

Typical Projects

You'll have the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio including: stadia, hosptiality, gyms, offices, retail etc upto £30m

Key Responsibilities

Managing all commercial aspects of projects from tender through to final account.
Preparing cost plans, estimates, budgets and financial forecasts.
Procuring subcontractors and managing competitive tender processes.
Administering contracts, valuations, variations and final accounts.
Monitoring project costs, cash flow and financial performance.

About You

You'll ideally have:

A degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
Experience delivering projects within one or more of the following sectors:
Stadia
Hospitality
Commercial fit-out
Refurbishment
New build
