Position: Technical Sales Specialist

Location: Flintshire, North Wales Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Salary: £32,000p/a plus bonus and benefits

Are you a driven sales or account manager professional who enjoys building customer relationships?

We're recruiting a technical sales specialist to join a successful manufacturing business in Flintshire. This is an office-based role where you'll be responsible for managing customer enquiries, preparing quotations, following up opportunities, and supporting customers throughout the sales process.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with internal sales, account management, or customer service experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced commercial environment. Product training will be provided, so you don't need previous technical knowledge to be successful.

The Role

Manage customer enquiries by phone and email.
Prepare accurate quotations using specialist software.
Proactively follow up on quotations to convert enquiries into orders.
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
Identify opportunities to up sell and cross-sell products.
Provide product advice and support (full training provided).
Work closely with production, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time.
Update CRM systems and maintain accurate customer records.
Help achieve sales targets while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

About You

Previous experience in internal sales, sales support, account management, customer service, or business development.
A confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills.
Commercially minded with a proactive approach to following up on opportunities.
Organised with strong attention to detail.
Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
