Job Title: Quotation Executive – Freight Forwarding
Location: Southport
Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE
Hours: Office hours (flexible)

About the Role:

We are working with a dynamic freight forwarding company based in Southport who are seeking a Quotation Executive to join their busy commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with logistics experience and strong Excel skills to play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive freight quotations for clients.

In this role, you will liaise closely with sales and operations teams to ensure quotes are timely, accurate, and compliant with company policies and international shipping regulations. You will also be responsible for maintaining records, supporting reporting, and assisting in rate analysis to help the business remain competitive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate quotations for sea, air, and road freight shipments.

• Communicate with clients to understand their shipping requirements.

• Collaborate with operations and sales teams to ensure feasible and competitive quotes.

• Maintain quotation records and assist with reporting on performance and conversion rates.

• Keep up-to-date with freight rates, surcharges, and industry trends.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain.

• Strong Excel skills (including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and data analysis).

• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

• Ability to work independently in a busy, fast-paced environment.
