Basingstoke or Milton Keynes (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite) Up to £60,000 + Benefits
Are you a data-driven leader with a sharp eye for detail and a background in rate or data management within recruitment, finance or payroll? We're working with an innovative company at the forefront of transforming how employers, suppliers and talent connect — and they're looking for a Rate and Data Manager to join their growing PMO team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of rate governance and data integrity across a major recruitment platform, supporting clients who transact hundreds of millions through the system. If you're looking to step into a strategic, high-impact role where precision and process excellence are key, this could be your next career move.
What You’ll Be Doing
Overseeing accurate management of complex rate data, including worker pay, supplier margins, vendor charges, statutory rates, rebates and gainshares.
Leading a team responsible for maintaining data accuracy across platforms, ensuring alignment with contractual terms and commercial agreements.
Supporting new client onboarding with precise data configuration, particularly rate structures and job categories.
Owning and improving change control governance for rate and system data updates — including audits, updates, and statutory changes.
Collaborating closely with internal teams (Product, Strategy, Finance, Growth, PMO) to ensure smooth data flows and implementation integrity.
Monitoring and reporting on rate trends, audit outcomes and team SLAs.
What You’ll Bring
Proven experience in rate management, ideally within a vendor-neutral recruitment or contingent workforce setting.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage and interpret large data sets confidently.
Strong leadership and people management skills — able to guide a high-performing team.
Proficiency in data systems and platforms such as Excel, Volti4, HubSpot, Monday.com and CRM tools.
Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
Effective communicator, capable of working with stakeholders at all levels across multiple departments.
Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (desirable).
Bonus: experience with SQL, XML, or JSON data structures.
