Raw Materials Warehouse FLT Operator

Blue Arrow is urgently recruiting for a Raw Materials Warehouse FLT Operator join our clients team based in the Baglan area. Paid Weekly!

Rate of Pay: £13.08ph

Hours of work: Full time Monday to Friday: 07:00-15:00pm

Contract: Temp to perm after 12 weeks

Main Responsibilities:

Operate FLT / 8-tonne Clamp trucks safely and efficiently while meeting productivity and quality expectation
Transport required reels and raw materials from warehouse to production workstation
Identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies
Independent working with some teamworking
Unload incoming goods from the vehicles recording all necessary paperwork
Carry out visual inspection of all incoming loads to ensure that the load matches the paperwork
Run quality check of all incoming goods
Transport goods using proper equipment and efficiently stack and store them in the correct storage bay
Ensure all required documentation is accurately completed
Perform daily equipment checks and report any faults
Maintain the equipment guaranteeing the daily functioning in line with the work instructions
Carry out periodic stocktaking activities
Guarantee the warehouse space optimization
Transport parent reels from paper mill production area to warehouse if requiredSkills required:

RTITB FLT (Counterbalance) is desirable but in-house is accepted
Experience in warehouse environment operating a Forklift Truck
Experience using clamp and bale attachments (desirable)
Strong awareness of health, safety, and safe working practices.
Good communication skills
Works well in a team and individually**Site run a no conviction policy and will carry out a DBS check on day 1**
