RE & Citizenship Teacher

A welcoming and well-resourced secondary school in Northampton is seeking a committed and enthusiastic RE & Citizenship Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis from September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher with a passion for Religious Education and Citizenship to inspire and engage students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

• Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in RE and Citizenship.

• Teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

• Encourage critical thinking and respectful discussion on religious and societal topics.

• Assess, track, and report on student progress effectively.

• Create a supportive, inclusive learning environment.

• Contribute to departmental planning and school-wide initiatives.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.

• Strong subject knowledge and UK classroom experience in RE and/or Citizenship.

• A valid Enhanced DBS, ideally registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.

• A positive, professional attitude and strong work ethic.
