RE Teacher | Camden | Independent Mixed School

An Independent Mixed school in Camden is seeking a thoughtful and well-informed RE Teacher for a permanent, full-time position commencing in September. The successful RE Teacher will guide students in Key Stages 3 and 4 to explore diverse religious and ethical perspectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging RE Teacher lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.


• Prepare students effectively for GCSE Religious Studies examinations, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of different faiths.


• Foster a classroom atmosphere that encourages respectful dialogue and critical thinking about religious and ethical issues.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Religious Education or Theology.


• Proven experience teaching Religious Education at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4).


• A strong academic background in religious studies and a passion for the subject.


• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, capable of leading sensitive discussions as an RE Teacher.
