An excellent secondary school in Bridgnorth is looking for a committed and skilled RE Teacher to join their thriving Humanities department. This full-time, permanent role involves teaching Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5 for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver stimulating and thought-provoking RE lessons that encourage critical thinking, reflection, and respect for diverse beliefs.


• Cover a range of topics and ethical issues, ensuring lessons align with the National Curriculum and prepare students for GCSE and potentially A-Level examinations.


• Inspire students to engage with moral, cultural, and religious perspectives through debate and discussion.


• Foster an inclusive and respectful classroom environment that values different viewpoints and promotes understanding.


• Monitor and assess student progress, offering clear and constructive feedback to support their growth.


• Contribute to the development of the RE curriculum and related departmental resources.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).


• A degree in Religious Education, Theology, or a related field.


• Proven experience teaching RE at the secondary level, with a strong record of student success.


• Excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching RE.


• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
