About the Role

An Outstanding secondary school in Islington seeks a dedicated Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join their humanities department from September. The role involves delivering engaging RE lessons across all key stages, and fostering students' understanding of different faiths and ethical issues. We are looking for a skilled RE Teacher to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging RE lessons across all key stages.


• Prepare students for examinations and assessments.


• Develop students' understanding of different faiths and ethical issues.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. We require an RE Teacher who can perform these tasks.


• Contribute to the delivery of the RE curriculum.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Religious Education.


• Proven experience in teaching RE at secondary level.
