This is a full-time, permanent position, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5). Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging RE lessons that explore a range of world religions, belief systems, and ethical issues.


• Foster critical thinking, open-mindedness, and respectful dialogue among students.


• Develop students' ability to analyze and evaluate different perspectives on religious and ethical questions.


• Promote understanding and respect for diversity in beliefs and values.


• Assess student progress effectively and provide constructive feedback.


• Contribute to the development of the RE curriculum, ensuring it is relevant, inclusive, and thought-provoking.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).


• A degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, or a related field.


• Proven experience teaching RE at the secondary level.


• A strong understanding of different religions and belief systems.


• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
