We’re looking for an exceptional Teacher of RE to join an outstanding secondary school in Peterborough.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys their subject and wants to help students think, question, and develop their own ideas.

The Role

• Teach RE across KS3–KS5.

• Cover a range of religious, philosophical, and ethical topics.

• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level where required.

• Encourage discussion and independent thinking.

• Help students develop their written work and exam technique.

• Contribute to wider school activities and enrichment.

The Candidate

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a relevant degree and teaching qualification.

• Has good knowledge of Religious Studies, Theology, or Philosophy.

• Can make lessons interesting and accessible.

• Is comfortable leading discussions and debates.

• Builds positive relationships with students.

• Has high expectations but is approachable and supportive.
