Reach Truck Driver

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Reach Truck Driver to join a leading Steel Distributor based in Wednesbury.
We’re looking for reliable, safety-conscious individuals with a valid, in-date Reach Truck licence and previous experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating a Reach Truck to move, locate, and stack steel products safely and efficiently.

Picking and preparing customer orders according to specifications.

Accurately packing and labelling goods for dispatch.

Conducting quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with order requirements.

Supporting stock control and general warehouse duties when required.

Requirements:

Valid, in-date Reach Truck licence (essential)

Previous experience operating a Reach Truck (essential)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Good understanding of warehouse health and safety practices.

Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting.

Dependable, punctual, and a strong team player.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 10:00 - 19:30

Hourly rate of £12.71 per hour.

This is an ongoing temporary role with the potential to become permanent after a successful trial period.
