Precision Inspection: Execute routine visual checks and functional tests using tools like calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and inspection jigs. Blueprint Verification: Check dimensions of parts against technical drawings and specifications. Material Control: Identify and segregate non-conforming or discrepant material and support internal screening activities. Collaboration: Work closely with the Supplier Quality Team, Engineers, and Buyers to resolve quality or documentation issues. Data Accuracy: Accurately record all inspection data and maintain essential quality documentation. Education: High School diploma (or equivalent) is required. Experience: While less than a year of experience is required, 1+ years in a manufacturing or inspection environment is highly preferred. Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency and the ability to use precision measurement tools. Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for spotting discrepancies in complex components. Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime, nights, or weekends as needed to meet production demands. Communication: Ability to keep supervisors informed and escalate quality issues effectively. Physical Stamina: Alternating between sitting, standing, and walking for long periods. Strength: Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 45 pounds. Dexterity: Fine motor control for handling delicate tools and precise measurement equipment. Vision: Acute near vision for detailed inspection using magnifiers and camera systems
