Reception & Year 1 PPA Teacher Thursdays

Are you looking for a part-time teaching role where you can make a real impact across Reception and Year 1? We are working with a welcoming Hertfordshire primary school seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable PPA Teacher to provide cover every Thursday throughout the academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys the variety of both Early Years and Key Stage 1 within a supportive school community.

The Role
Reception & Year 1 PPA Teacher
Every Thursday
One day per week
September start
Full academic year
Full class responsibility during PPA cover
Teaching across both Reception and Year 1
Well-planned handovers and close collaboration with the class teachers

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A sound understanding of both the EYFS Framework and Key Stage 1 curriculum
Experience teaching Reception and/or Year 1
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
A flexible, positive approach and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues
