In the BS6 area of Bristol, there is a wonderful opportunity for a Reception Class Teacher to join a wonderful Primary School. 

This school is a place to inspire children to achieve their full potential, somewhere that works closely with families and the community to remove barriers to learning to help children to grow a love for learning. 

This Primary School is part of a large Trust who have a number of Primary Schools across Bristol. This is a great opportunity for you as you have the chance to share knowledge and training with a number of staff members. 

The Role

This position is a full-time role, offering an opportunity for an experienced Early Years Teacher or someone who is looking to start their teaching career as an ECT. 

The Head Teacher is looking for someone who is highly confident with their knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and is able to build strong relationships with children and families to communicate development. 

You will be expected to: 

• Plan and deliver enthusiastic and engaging lessons. 
• Be empathetic and patient
• Work closely with Class Teaching Assistants to work with small groups and individual children to help their learning.
• Assess childrens’ development and targets. 
• Have high expectations for behaviour and learning.
