Reception Teacher

Reception Teacher – Nurturing Young Learners in Havering
Full -Time | Temporary | Start Date: 19 January 2026

As the Reception Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS framework

• Create a stimulating and nurturing learning environment, both indoors and outdoors

• Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development

• Observe, assess, and track progress to inform next steps in learning

• Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues

You will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Have experience teaching in Reception or Early Years (ECTs are welcome)

• Be warm, patient, and highly organised

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of early childhood development

• Be committed to inclusive practice and high -quality early education

• Competitive salary £37,868 – £56,154 (M1–M6, Main Pay Range)
