Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting pupils’ development across all areas of learning. Plan and provide engaging, play-based learning opportunities that cater to a range of abilities and interests. Support pupils’ social, emotional, and communication development in a nurturing environment. Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom that promotes curiosity and independence. Monitor and assess pupil progress in line with EYFS frameworks, using observations to inform planning. Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support each child’s development and well-being. Promote positive behaviour and establish strong routines to support early learning. Candidate Profile
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Experience within Early Years or Reception is preferred. Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development. Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills. Passionate about early years education and committed to professional development. Ability to create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment with effective behaviour management. Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS check and professional references.
