Primary School Teacher – Reception Maternity CoverThe Education Specialist (TES) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Bootle, teaching a Reception class.
This is a full-time, temporary maternity cover position starting in January and running for 2 terms, until the end of the academic year. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching within a supportive and well-structured school environment.
The school has a strong focus on pupil progress and inclusive learning, with a collaborative staff team and a positive learning culture, making it an excellent opportunity for a Primary Teacher looking to develop their practice in a supportive setting.
Primary Teacher benefits:• Competitive daily rate of £130–£248.61, dependent on experience

Primary Teacher role requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
• Experience teaching Reception is desirable
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons and learning activities
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A proactive and reflective approach to teaching
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply

The successful Primary Teacher will:• Plan and deliver engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS curriculum
• Teach a Reception class throughout the maternity cover period
• Support children's development across the seven areas of learning
• Differentiate teaching and learning to meet a range of individual needs
• Monitor, assess and track pupil progress effectively
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCO and school leadership
