We, Academics, are looking for a qualified reception teacher to support one of our highly esteemed schools in the B21 area. The successful candidate will already posses a QTS and will ideally have prior experience in a Reception classroom and knowledge in EYFS. This specific role is a long-term opportunity that requires the successful candidate to attend the setting only on a Thursday and Friday.

Key responsibilities of a Reception Teacher include:

Provide and encourage a safe and inclusive environment for early years/ reception pupils
Plan and deliver quality lessons relevant to the national curriculum and tailored to the needs of Reception pupils
Ensure that teaching and lesson plans are adaptable for children with SEND
Work in collaboration with a range of individuals, including colleagues and parents, to ensure the best outcomes for pupils Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A great relevant understanding of the EYFS & Reception curriculum
Enhanced DBS (must be on the update service)
