What You’ll Be Doing

As our new Reception Teacher, you’ll be responsible for:

  Delivering Engaging and Fun Lessons: Plan and deliver lessons that are dynamic, play-based, and inspiring, ensuring that children enjoy their learning experiences.

  Supporting Early Development: Foster a classroom environment where children develop foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and social interaction.

  Tracking Progress: Monitor and assess the development of each child, providing timely feedback and setting individual learning goals.

  Building Relationships: Establish strong relationships with your pupils, their families, and your colleagues to ensure a positive, collaborative learning environment.

  Creating an Inclusive Environment: Differentiate your teaching to meet the diverse needs of the children in your care, ensuring every child feels valued and supported.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a Reception Teacher who is:

• A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent) and experience working in Early Years.


• Passionate about early childhood education and the development of young learners.


• Able to inspire and motivate children, creating an environment where they feel safe to explore and learn.


• A team player with strong communication skills, able to collaborate with colleagues and engage parents effectively.
