Reception Teacher | Vibrant Primary School | January 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging EYFS lessons that support all areas of development


• Foster pupils’ social, emotional, and academic growth in a safe and inclusive classroom


• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and setting next steps


• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues to maintain high-quality provision


• Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support learning and wellbeing


• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events and extracurricular activities

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)


• Experience teaching in the EYFS/Reception phase


• Strong knowledge of the Early Years curriculum and assessment frameworks


• Ability to create a stimulating, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment


• Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills


• Passion for early years education and commitment to helping every child thrive
