Reception Teaching Assistant / Early Years Practitioner (2 Days Per Week)

Salary: £90 - £105 per day (PAYE)

Contract: 2 Days per Week, Term Time Only

SANZA Teaching Agency is looking for a dedicated Early Years Practitioner or Teaching Assistant to support a Reception class in a creative and community-focused school in North West London. This part-time position is ideal for someone seeking flexible working in a high-quality Early Years setting.

• A three-form entry Brent primary, known for its child-centred, play-rich EYFS provision.
• Classrooms are light, open and resourced with high-quality indoor and outdoor learning areas.

About the Role:

• Support the Reception class teacher two days per week.
• Assist with phonics, child-led learning and play-based activities.
• Monitor progress and behaviour, providing gentle support and encouragement.
• Help set up learning zones and tidy resources after sessions.
• Build warm relationships with children, families and staff.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a Level 3 Early Years or TA qualification (or has strong school-based EYFS experience).
• Passionate about early childhood development and learning through play.
• Kind, energetic and reliable.
• Open to developing their career in education - training support available.
