Receptionist

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading commercial insurance brokerage based in Manchester, currently seeking a professional and personable Receptionist to join their front-of-house team.

The Role:

As Receptionist, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the reception area, ensuring all guests and callers receive a positive first impression. You'll also provide essential administrative support to internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greeting visitors and clients in a professional, friendly manner
• Managing incoming calls, emails, and deliveries
• Booking and preparing meeting rooms
• Maintaining a tidy, organised reception area
• Supporting general office administration including post, filing, and data entry
• Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers as needed

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in a reception or customer-facing role (corporate setting preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and strong organisational ability
• Confident using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• A proactive, can-do attitude and strong attention to detail
