Temporary Receptionist Cover – Stevenage

SMT Recruitment is currently seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to provide temporary holiday cover at a large serviced office in Stevenage.

Dates: 1 week, 7th – 14th August
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Break: 1-hour unpaid lunch
Pay Rate: £14 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Welcoming and greeting visitors, clients, and contractors in a professional manner
Answering and directing incoming calls
Managing meeting room bookings and ensuring rooms are prepared and presentable
Handling incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and couriers
Providing general administrative support when required
Maintaining a professional and welcoming reception area
The Ideal Candidate:

Previous reception, front of house, or customer-facing experience
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Professional, reliable, and well-presented
Confident using Microsoft Office and managing a busy reception desk
Able to work independently while delivering a high standard of service
