Pay: £14.25 – £18.00 per hour, depending on experience
 
Horizon Teachers are recruiting for an experienced School Receptionist to join a welcoming school in East Dulwich, Southeast London, on a maternity cover basis.
 
The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for parents, pupils, staff and visitors, providing a professional and welcoming front-of-house service while supporting the smooth running of the school office.
 
Key Responsibilities

Managing the school reception and welcoming parents, pupils and visitors
Answering telephone calls, emails and handling general enquiries
Signing visitors in and following school safeguarding procedures
Supporting attendance, pupil records and general office administration
Providing day-to-day administrative support to the wider school team 
Requirements

Previous reception or administrative experience within a school environment
Previous experience using a school management system such as SIMS, Arbor or Bromcom
Strong communication, IT and organisational skills with a professional and approachable manner
