Padium is the new premium padel operator in the UK. We opened our flagship club in Canary Wharf in August 2023. Our vision is to create a community-driven brand where we deliver a world-class experience before, during, and after a match. We offer state-of-the-art facilities including high-quality padel courts, premium locker rooms with towel service, a pro shop stocked with the latest padel equipment and retail, a smoothie bar, and a mezzanine floor with a comfortable lounge area.
Description of the role
As receptionist at Padium you are the first person to meet and greet our customers and make sure they feel welcome. You will during your shift work in the reception, as well as in the smoothie bar and also make sure that the facilities maintain a clean appearance throughout the day. We are looking for a person who’s excited to join our team of receptionists at Canary Wharf and be an integral part of creating a world-class experience and strong company culture.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver first class customer service at all times
Greet and assist customers with their reservations and any questions they might have
Ensure a clean and welcoming atmosphere at all times
Deliver quality smoothies and customer service in the smoothie bar
Maintain product knowledge for, and sell retail and equipment
Candidate profile and experience
Strong customer service skills
Friendly, outgoing personality and enjoy social interaction
Ability to prioritise and work within a fast-paced environment
Have an eye for detail and care for the club’s appearance and cleanliness
Maintain a professional appearance and behaviour
Excellent communication skills
Passionate about padel and excited to be part of the founding team at Padium and to contribute to building a strong company culture
Previous experience from customer service jobs is required and it’s meriting if you have experience from working at a padel club or if you play padel yourself
Candidates must be at least 18 years or older to apply
Salary
£12 / hour
Working hours
We are looking for a receptionist to join our team, to work between 20-30 hrs / week. The club is open 7 days a week, and the shifts may be between 07.00 am to 22.30 pm. We will put together a weekly schedule for each receptionist with regular times from week to week.
Starting date
The candidate is expected to start in May 2024.
