Receptionist (part-time 12 month Maternity cover)

Well our team at Tate is working exclusively with a high-end professional business who have a fixed term contract Receptionist/ Administrator opportunity, for up to one year, 3 days a week, Monday and Tuesday 8.30am to 5pm, Wednesday 8.30am to 2pm.

Here, you will be front of house working in the heart of the business, based in an elegant building in a beautiful rural location. This is a successful business and one you'd be proud to work for.

Your job will be to provide a warm welcome to visitors and an efficient switchboard answering service, transferring calls and taking messages whilst supporting with a range of adhoc admin support duties too.

Key responsibilities will include:

Operation of the across sites switchboard, screening, forwarding calls and taking messages.
Greeting visitors and contractors.
Signing for deliveries and collection dockets.
Managing and distributing all incoming and outgoing post.
Creating and updating spreadsheets, schedules, and reports.
Monitoring room bookings.
Record, update and process data.
General administration tasks such as filing, copying, scanning and supporting other areas of the business as required.

The ideal person for this post, you will:

Have an outgoing, friendly personality
Be organised and able to multitask, prioritising when necessary
Have excellent with verbal and written communication skills
Be a confident user of MS, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
Have your own transport to get to work due to the remote location
