Recruitment & Compliance Officer - Permanent

Join our Apprenticeships Department as a Recruitment & Compliance Officer. This role is crucial for supporting the recruitment of employers and learners for apprenticeship programs, ensuring compliance with safeguarding, funding, and regulatory requirements, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

• Actively recruit new employers interested in hiring apprentices and engage with learners to recruit them into various apprenticeship programs.
• Conduct initial advice and guidance (IAG) sessions and learner interviews.
• Develop and maintain strong links with referral agents and the Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS).
• Promote apprenticeship programs through direct marketing, presentations, networking, and employer meetings.
• Maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders to ensure ongoing partnership opportunities.
• Collaborate with employers to identify workforce development needs and promote the benefits of apprenticeships.
• Attend and participate in career fairs, employer engagement events, and networking opportunities.
• Ensure all recruitment and engagement activities comply with safeguarding, Prevent duty, and health & safety policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date learner records in line with funding and regulatory guidelines.
• Support internal compliance checks and audits as required.
• Meet and exceed targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to apprenticeship delivery.
• Coordinate End-Point Assessment (EPA) bookings and ensure learners and staff are fully aware of EPA requirements.

• Level 3 Business qualification or relevant business development, recruitment, or compliance experience.
• Level 2 qualification in both Math and English.
• Willingness to participate in and undertake training as necessary.
• Experience in business development, recruitment, or employer engagement.
• Experience of KPI setting, monitoring, and achieving personal, team, and business targets.
• Experience of working with external customers with an ability to promote, develop, sell, and deliver work placement opportunities.
• A sound knowledge of sales pipeline and marketing techniques.
• Experience in data management and compliance audits.
• Experience of working with employers and other external stakeholders.
• The ability to develop effective relationships with employers through a professional approach.
• Good working knowledge of IT and MS Office packages.
• Strong time-management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and supportively as part of a team.
• Ability to work both under direction and on personal initiative.
• Aptitude for proactive identification and solution of problems and barriers to effective working.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet targets and deadlines.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication skills.
