Business Development Manager - Recruitment, Maidstone Operation | Hybrid Working

£40,000+ Basic + Uncapped Commission + Quarterly Bonus | Realistic OTE £50,000-£60,000+

This isn't a typical recruitment role.

We're looking for someone who loves winning business and developing client relationships. You'll have the support of an experienced delivery and on-call team, allowing you to focus on commercial growth rather than managing a traditional recruitment desk.

This opportunity would suit an experienced recruiter or an individual with a successful B2B sales background within the logistics, transport, supply chain or industrial sectors who enjoys developing new business and building long-term customer relationships.

The Opportunity

Based from our Maidstone operation, you'll play a key role in growing our presence across Kent, its surrounding counties and the wider South East.

With experienced delivery support and on call team already in place, you'll be able to spend more time doing what you do best—developing client relationships, creating commercial opportunities and growing revenue.

Whilst there is an established customer base to develop further, a significant part of the role will involve identifying and winning new business opportunities, strengthening existing client relationships and helping shape the continued growth of the operation.

What you'll be doing

* Identifying new market opportunities across the South East.

* Developing existing client relationships and growing key accounts.

* Winning new business, with a particular focus on temporary recruitment.

* Visiting clients and building long-term commercial partnerships.

* Networking and raising your profile within the local market.

* Working closely with our experienced delivery consultants to maximise opportunities and grow revenue.

* Contributing to the continued commercial growth of the operation.

* A current UK driving licence is essential.

We believe regular office collaboration is important for team development, knowledge sharing and long-term success, so the successful person will typically be office-based for at least 1 day per week alongside client visits and business development activity.
