Regional Recruitment are looking for a driven, ambitious and people-focused Recruitment Consultant to join our growing Leicester team.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across a busy commercial desk, building your own client and candidate relationships, winning new business and making great placements.

Salary of up to £32,000 per year, depending on experience

Qualifications

Essential:

Previous recruitment experience as a Recruitment Consultant, Resourcer or similar
A confident and proactive approach to business development and candidate generation
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Comfortable working to targets and KPIs
Strong relationship-building skills
A positive, resilient and results-driven attitude
Ability to work independently while being a strong team player
Desirable:

Experience recruiting within the Commercial, Sales, Business Support or Professional Services sectors
A genuine passion for recruitment and delivering a great candidate and client experience
Willingness to work towards KPIs and targets

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for:

Building and maintaining strong relationships with both clients and candidates
Managing the full recruitment process from taking a vacancy through to placement
Sourcing and attracting candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, networking and proactive headhunting
Conducting candidate interviews and ensuring candidates are fully briefed on opportunities
Developing new business opportunities through proactive sales activity, calls, meetings and networking
Managing and growing your own client portfolio
Writing engaging job adverts and effectively marketing vacancies
Negotiating offers and managing the recruitment process through to completion
Working towards individual and team targets while contributing to the continued growth of the Leicester office

Requirements

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will also be expected to be:

Driven and ambitious, with a genuine desire to succeed
Confident picking up the phone and speaking to both clients and candidates
Organised and able to manage multiple vacancies and priorities
Resilient and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Commercially minded with a natural flair for building relationships
Someone who enjoys being part of a team and celebrating success together
