Recruitment Consultant - Business Support

Are you an ambitious junior recruiter or a sales professional looking to forge a long-term career in recruitment?

Reed Birmingham is expanding, and we want you to manage a bustling commercial temps desk. You'll be supported by a manager with over 10 years of experience, taking over a warm desk covering the whole of Birmingham.

What You'll Do:

• Dynamic Business Development: Make proactive calls to prospective clients and attend networking events to build long-term partnerships.

• Client Meetings: Travel across the city to meet clients, understand their needs, and offer tailored recruitment solutions.

• Candidate Sourcing: Use advertising, networking, and referrals to find the perfect match.

• Relationship Building: Ensure candidates and clients receive top-notch service throughout the recruitment journey.

• Performance Driven: Meet targets, adhere to KPIs, and track your achievements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 1 year in 360 agency recruitment or a B2B sales/Business Development/Telesales role.

• Resilience: Determined and dedicated to achieving success.

• Multitasking: Capable of managing and prioritising multiple tasks while maintaining high service standards.

• Motivation: Financially driven and ambitious.

• Competitiveness: Strong work ethic and a competitive nature.

• Commercial Awareness: Keen understanding of business dynamics and excellent negotiation skills.
