Based in Framlingham or Norwich | Hybrid working

Up to £30,000 basic + Uncapped Commission | Year 1 OTE £50K+

Join Jackson Barnes Recruitment, a fast-growing, specialist recruitment consultancy working across the B2B media, events, and publishing sectors. We’re looking for a Recruitment Consultant (with or without experience) to manage and develop an existing and warm client base.

About the Role

This is a 360° recruitment role ideal for someone either with recruitment experience or eager to break into the industry. You’ll be working on a mix of warm and new accounts, helping clients find top talent while growing relationships and your own billings.

We work on a broad range of roles - from entry-level to senior executive positions - for high-profile b2b media, publishing and events clients in the UK and overseas. If you’re commercially minded, a great communicator, and excited about connecting people with great opportunities, this is the perfect next step.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with a mix of warm and new clients
• Source and engage top candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and direct outreach
• Take full responsibility for the recruitment process, from taking the initial brief to placement and beyond
• Write and post compelling job adverts and manage candidate pipelines
• Build sector knowledge and become a trusted advisor to your clients
• Update and maintain CRM records accurately
• Attend meetings, briefings, and industry events (with potential international travel)

• Previous recruitment experience is beneficial, but not essential - attitude and ambition matter most.
• Strong interpersonal skills and confidence on the phone and in person
• Ambitious, organised, and motivated by personal and team success
• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
• Interest in B2B media, events, and publishing is a plus
• Tech-savvy, with experience using LinkedIn and CRM systems preferred

• Basic salary up to £30,000 depending on experience
• Uncapped commission - realistic OTE of £50K+ in year one
