As a Dedicated Relief Security Officer at Securitas, you’ll do more than protect what’s important—you’ll empower people to thrive. Your presence will make others feel safe, welcome, and supported.

Please be aware you are required for 1.5 hours on the recruitment day and the location for the recruitment day is Slough (Address will be provided if your invited to interview)

To provide security services at various sites across a defined geographical area as required.

• Protecting the customer’s employees, property, and other assets in line with the relevant Assignment Instructions and site-specific customer requirements.
• Delivering the highest levels of customer service which consistently demonstrate Securitas’ core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness. (NB: the prospective Security Officer must have acquired the full SIA licence before being able to start work on operational shifts).
• Display an outstanding level of customer service.
• Take responsibility for problems that staff and visitors may have.
• Display the highest standard of personal presentation and smartness of uniform to maintain the image of Securitas and the customer.
• Answer telephone calls professionally and in accordance with the Assignment Instructions.
• Book on at the beginning of each shift and make check calls in accordance with Company policy.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely fashion and conduct effective handover procedures.
• Undertake any other duties as requested by Branch Management.
• Demonstrate understanding and engagement with the Securitas Core Values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness, whilst showing a natural ability to recognise risk within the workplace and consider safety as a priority, complying with relevant policies, procedures and training as provided by the Company.

• SIA licence or willing to obtain one (we provide the training)
• Must pass mandatory screening training
• Must complete all mandatory training
• Full UK Driving Licence or close to transport links
• White glove customer service 
• Must be flexible
• Right to work in the UK and have a five-year checkable history 
• Visitor & Contractor Management
• Computer Skills

• Good time keeping
