Recruitment Manager

Job Description

This is a truly special and rare opportunity for a talented Recruitment Consultant with experience managing a team, to put their own stamp on a small but growing specialist recruitment agency. Alongside running a full 360 desk, you will work closely with the Founder, Jennifer Williams, to develop effective strategies to ensure that the business continues to grow and deliver outstanding service to its clients and candidates alike.

Day to day responsibilities:

Client Management

Outbound client attraction via phone, email and LinkedIn Recruiter
Active involvement in a range of networking events including sponsorship of Abingdon Business Buzz and being an active member of the B4 Business community
Providing consultative advice to clients using current market insights
Growing and maintaining the existing client database

Candidate Management

Thorough candidate registration via phone, Teams/Zoom or in person at our office in Bicester
Collecting all necessary compliance and conducting right to work checks
Regular catch ups with candidates via phone, email and WhatsApp to provide ongoing support to them in their job search
Creating new opportunities for candidates through proactive outreach

Line Management

Direct line management and development of one full-time Recruitment Consultant
Supporting the team with winning new business and filling roles with quality candidates
Motivating the team and celebrating success
Overseeing progress against targets

Strategy

Working with the Founder to create an effective commercial strategy to drive new business whilst retaining existing clients
Cascading the strategy to the team and leading by example to ensure everyone is on the same page
Being inquisitive and seeking out new ways to work more efficiently and improve the candidate/client experience
Consistent presence on social media including LinkedIn and Instagram
Creating new and engaging marketing strategies.

Salary is entirely dependent on experience, but we guarantee a generous commission package
35 hour, full-time working week – but we're very open to talking about what works best for you
22 days holiday per year + statutory bank holidays and your birthday off too!
Flexible working (ideally you would visit the office twice a week) – and we’re very open to discussing a reduced working week if that’s your preference

Providing them with a thorough, thoughtful and outstanding experience is paramount, and it is important that you share our values and approach on this.

It is essential that you have substantial recruitment experience and have managed a team. You must be within a realistic commute from the offices in Bicester and have a full driving licence.
