Refrigeration Engineer

We are recruiting on behalf of a respected company seeking a dedicated Refrigeration Engineer to join their team in Trafford Park. Supportive and professional working environmentDuties of a Refrigeration Engineer:

Servicing and maintaining refrigeration units, including GAH HVAC systems and Thermo King / Carrier refrigeration equipment
Diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration faults
Performing planned preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability as a Refrigeration Engineer
Conducting F-Gas compliant work in accordance with industry standards
Completing detailed service reports and documentation as a Refrigeration Engineer
Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulationsRequirements of a Refrigeration Engineer:

Proven experience in refrigeration, HVAC, or PWC systems preferred
Knowledge of GAH, Thermo King, and Carrier refrigeration systems advantageous; willingness to learn essential
Strong fault-finding skills in electrical and mechanical systems
F-Gas certification is mandatory
Relevant engineering qualifications are desirable but not essential
Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work on-site
