Regional Business Development Manager (West England and Wales)

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, commercially focused sales professional to make a real impact. You’ll take ownership of a defined region, identifying new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and delivering tailored solutions that create long-term value.

This role suits someone who thrives on building relationships, spotting opportunities, and closing deals, while working collaboratively with internal teams to deliver exceptional results.

This role will be based in an around West of England and Wales.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive regional growth
• Building and nurturing strong client relationships across multiple sectors
• Achieving and exceeding sales targets, contributing to overall business success
• Identifying and converting new business opportunities
• Conducting site surveys, product demonstrations, and customer trials
• Delivering compelling, value-driven proposals and solutions
• Monitoring sales performance, analysing data, and identifying areas for improvement
• Managing and developing key accounts and stakeholder relationships
• Tracking performance through tools such as Sales Tracker and budget reporting
• Analysing market trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities
• Developing accurate sales forecasts and collaborating with operations and finance
• Establishing strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth
• Negotiating agreements to create mutually beneficial outcomes
• Working closely with marketing, product, and service teams to ensure aligned delivery
• Supporting customer training and product development initiatives
• Optimising the sales funnel and improving conversion rates

• Proven experience in a sales role (mid-tier level), ideally within B2B environments
• Experience selling to SMEs, owner-operated businesses, and larger organisations
• A strong track record of achieving and exceeding targets
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Strategic thinker with strong commercial awareness
• Customer-focused with a consultative sales approach
• Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making
• Innovative and proactive in identifying new business opportunities
• Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
