Regional Business Manager UK

Main tasks:

• Responsible for the achievement of sales targets, revenue and gross margin in the region.


• Actively win, retain and grow the business in the UK & Ireland.


• Manage, support and expand the local sales network including agents and finders.


• Managing existing customers and developing new business in target industries.


• Competently advise customers and train sales partners on products and applications of the technology.


• Independently negotiate with customers within corporate guidelines.


• Majority of working time spent on visiting customers.


• Sales analyses and planning in cooperation with marketing.


• Provide regular reporting and strategic insights to senior management.


• Collaborate with and support the aftermarket team both locally in the UK and with the EMEA headquarters.


• Train, supervise and support the regional sales manager/s for a global revenue in the region. 


• Attend meetings and trade shows anywhere in the EMEA region as needed or as required by upper management.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Process or Industrial Engineering or related technical disciplines/ equivalent experience.


• Minimum 5 years experience in selling machine tools (cutting technologies preferred).


• Understanding of product specifications, product processes and cutting technologies in various applications.


• Entrepreneurial skill and ability to work in a team and independently.


• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.


• Strong customer orientation.


• Fluent English (verbal and written), any other European language is an advantage.


• Willingness to travel extensively across the region and Europe.
