Job Description - Regional Facilities Manager

Cobalt is working with a national managing agent to recruit a Regional Facilities Manager for a multi-client commercial property portfolio across Yorkshire.

This is a key regional role offering the opportunity to lead on service delivery, contractor performance and occupier experience across a varied mix of buildings. It's ideal for someone confident managing multiple sites and experienced in both hard and soft services, with a hands-on approach to delivering quality FM.

You'll be responsible for the operational delivery of FM across a group of managed buildings, working closely with surveyors, clients and occupiers to maintain high standards and ensure all statutory obligations are met.

This is a role with genuine autonomy - you'll take ownership of your patch, manage relationships with contractors and tenants, and contribute to wider FM strategy in the region.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing hard and soft FM services across a regional portfolio of multi-let commercial assets

  • Undertaking regular building inspections and contractor meetings, following up on KPIs and performance

  • Leading on compliance, H&S, risk and environmental performance across all sites

  • Supporting budget preparation and ongoing service charge management

  • Managing minor works requests and ensuring delivery meets agreed standards

  • Liaising closely with occupiers, building teams, and the helpdesk to ensure a smooth-running operation

  • Supporting sustainability and occupier engagement initiatives on site

  • Attending internal meetings and contributing to the wider FM team's success

We're looking for someone with experience in a multi-site commercial FM role, ideally within a managing agent or client-side environment. You'll need an IOSH with strong knowledge of hard and soft service delivery and confidence working directly with both clients and occupiers.

You should be proactive, well-organised and comfortable managing your own workload. Experience with service charge, FM reporting tools and contractor oversight is essential.
