This is a multi-site engineering role covering both ambient and one chilled facility, focused on delivering efficient maintenance support, minimising downtime, and driving continuous improvement

Regional Engineer
Location: Robson Way, Coalville, East Midlands
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to £46,000 (DOE) + Benefits
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:00 (40 hours per week)

Overview:
Robert Walters is partnering with a leading co-packing business to recruit a Regional Engineer to support multiple operational sites across the East Midlands. This is a multi-site engineering role covering both ambient and one chilled facility, focused on delivering efficient maintenance support, minimising downtime, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Locations Covered:

• Rugby (DC420)

• Crick

• Desborough

• Bardon

• Lutterworth (3 sites)

A company vehicle is provided for business travel. You may be based at any of the supported locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production lines.

• Diagnose faults and implement long-term solutions to prevent reoccurrence.

• Lead or support on projects and improvement initiatives.

• Ensure all H&S protocols are followed, including creation of RAMS.

• Collaborate with operations teams to reduce downtime and boost efficiencies.

• Support spares stock management and maintain accurate records.

• Provide guidance and training to team members where required.

• Act as a machinery specialist and engineering subject-matter expert.

Candidate Profile:

• Multi-skilled engineer, ideally with an electrical bias.

• Previous experience in a packing or manufacturing environment.

• Proactive, self-motivated, and confident working across multiple sites.

• Strong understanding of health and safety in industrial settings.

• Computer literate, with good working knowledge of MS Office.
