Job Description - Regional Sales Executive

Sales and Customer Service Executive - Glasgow - Field and office/home based

  • Basic Salary: £50,000 + £5,000 car allowance
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Location: Glasgow UK
  • Hybrid: Reporting to office twice per week

Are you a proactive and diligent professional with a knack for sales and customer service within compliance-driven environments? We are looking for a Sales and Customer Service Executive who excels in maintaining high standards and adhering to company policies and legal requirements. This role offers the opportunity to join a dynamic team, where you can leverage your skills to drive business growth and ensure compliance across all operations in industries such as Oil & Gas, Marine, Renewables, Mining, Construction, and Aerospace. Their Purpose: To help keep critical industries and their operations working, so that the world can progress without interruption. And theirMission: To be the most admired supply chain logistics provider within each their specialist industries, through engagement with employees, clients, and partners.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Identify and convert new business opportunities across various sectors including Oil & Gas, Marine, Renewables, Mining, Construction, and Aerospace.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers through regular meetings.
  • Respond to and follow up on sales leads promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure all sales activities align with compliance requirements.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet KPIs and achieve business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate customer information and sales targets in the CRM system.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective customers.
  • Collaborate across departments to maximize sales opportunities and address service issues.
  • Participate in client meetings, business seminars, and hospitality events as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge or association with Freight import and export processes
  • Proven experience in generating new business and managing client relationships.
  • Demonstrable ability to implement effective sales strategies.
  • Competence in engaging with customers at the board level.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a driven and organised approach.

  • Achieve a minimum of 10 client calls per week, with at least 5 leading to face-to-face meetings.
