As a front-line Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of up to 10 Business Development Managers in a fast paced and dynamic sales environment. The key objectives of this team will be to find, win, keep and grow new businesses, selling our portfolio of industry leading solutions. Your focus as the Sales Manager will be to coach, develop and guide your team members, whilst following a structured sales process and ultimately delivering profitable revenue growth for the organisation.

The geographical area of the sales team will be cover are - Bedfordshire Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire , Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of up to 10 sales professionals to achieve individual and team targets.
  2. Coaching and Development: Provide ongoing coaching and development to all team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill enhancement.
  3. Sales Process Management: Ensure adherence to a defined sales process, working closely with team members to refine and optimise strategies for increased efficiency and success.
  4. Revenue Delivery: Take ownership of revenue targets, implement strategies and initiatives to ensure consistent achievement and exceeding of sales goals.
  5. Performance Tracking: Implement and maintain robust performance metrics to track individual and team progress, regularly reporting on key performance indicators.
  6. Training and Onboarding: Facilitate training sessions and onboarding programs for new and existing team members, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  7. Best Practice Implementation: Drive the adoption of best practices within the team, leveraging your experience to cultivate a high-performance sales culture.
