Regional Surveyor (South)

📍 Home-based | South England & Wales travel | £50,000 - £52,000 + Car Allowance + Accommodation Paid

Our client, a well-established not-for-profit property organisation, is seeking an experienced Regional Surveyor to join their Property Services team. This is a home-based role with extensive travel across South England and Wales, supporting the maintenance, improvement and long-term sustainability of a diverse residential property portfolio.

The Role

You will be responsible for undertaking property inspections, managing planned and reactive maintenance works, overseeing contractor performance, carrying out stock condition surveys, and ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety legislation. You'll also provide technical advice on property acquisitions, adaptations, and asset improvement programmes.

About You

Qualified Building Surveyor (MRICS, CIOB or equivalent)
Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience
Strong background in property maintenance, repairs and asset management
Knowledge of building regulations, compliance and building safety requirements
Excellent report writing and stakeholder management skills
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively

Desirable

Experience within social housing, supported housing or charitable organisations
Knowledge of adaptations for vulnerable residents
