Registered Care Manager

Key Responsibilities

* Provide effective day-to-day leadership and management of the care home.

* Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care that meets all regulatory and legislative requirements.

* Lead, motivate, and develop the staff team, promoting a positive and supportive working culture.

* Maintain full compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards.

* Manage staffing, recruitment, training, and performance to ensure the home operates efficiently.

* Build positive relationships with residents, their families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.

* Oversee care planning, risk management, safeguarding, and medication management.

* Monitor budgets, occupancy, and overall home performance while maintaining excellent standards of care.

Essential Requirements

* Proven hands-on management experience within an elderly residential care setting.

* A Level 4 or Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), specifically relevant to elderly care.

* Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and current legislation.

* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

* Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards across all aspects of the home.

* A flexible and proactive approach, with the ability to respond effectively to the changing needs of residents and the service.
