An exciting opportunity has arisen for a caring and resilient individual Registered Manager for a Children’s Homes located in Powys.

Company Overview:
Our client is a childcare provider offering care, education, and therapy services to young people who have experienced trauma, resulting in emotional and behavioural difficulties requiring a high level of intervention.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a conscientious individual with relevant care qualifications, skills, and knowledge to lead and manage the staff team effectively. The successful candidate will be a dedicated professional with verified experience working as a Senior Residential Care Worker for children.

The successful candidate should demonstrate or possess:

• At least 1 year of experience as a Senior Residential Care Worker (RCW) and hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
• A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management
• Ideally, a QCF Level 4 & 5 Welsh qualification (If the candidate does not hold this qualification, they will be supported to obtain it)
• A full UK manual driving licence
• Access to their own transport
• A passion for working within the care sector and a commitment to delivering high-quality care services and positive outcomes
• Strong leadership and communication skills, along with a flexible attitude necessary in this demanding environment
• A keen interest in outdoor education, as the organisation encourages young people to engage in outdoor activities (Relevant and recognised outdoor activity qualifications may result in a salary increase)
• The ability to complete a sleep-in rota
• A responsibility to adhere to the organisation’s Safeguarding and Child Protection Procedures
