Registered Clinical Manager

Domus are looking for an experienced Registered Clinical Manager to lead a specialist Mental health, Learning disability, ABI & Complex dementia home nursing service in Cardiff.

The Role:
This is an opportunity for an experienced care professional to take responsibility for the overall quality, leadership and performance of the service, while supporting and developing a dedicated team.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring the people supported receive high-quality, person-centred care, while maintaining strong governance, compliance and operational standards.
You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive positive outcomes and ensure the service continues to develop and perform effectively.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is an experienced leader within the adult social care sector and who is passionate about delivering high standards of care.
You’ll ideally have:
Current, valid NMC registration.
Proven experience in a leadership or management role within social care.
Experience leading teams supporting people with learning disabilities, mental health conditions or acquired brain injuries.
Strong knowledge of social care legislation and regulatory requirements.
A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or willingness to work towards this.
Strong leadership, coaching and people-management skills.
Experience managing budgets, occupancy, rotas, utilisation and commissioned hours.
Experience completing audits, monitoring compliance and implementing effective action plans.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
A proactive, solution-focused approach with good commercial awareness.
Confidence using IT and management systems.
A genuine commitment to improving the lives and outcomes of the people supported.

As Registered Clinical Manager, you’ll have responsibility across three key areas:
Quality – Ensuring high standards of care, effective governance, regulatory compliance and positive outcomes for the people supported.
People – Leading, motivating and developing your team, creating a positive culture and ensuring colleagues have the support and development they need.
Healthy Finances – Managing resources effectively and contributing to the sustainable financial performance of the service.
You’ll also be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with families, professionals, commissioners, regulators and other key stakeholders.
