Delphi Care Solutions Ltd is supporting one of our amazing and family-oriented clients -an ambitious, values-driven independent domiciliary care agency based in Guildford, Hampshire. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Home Care Manager to play a pivotal role in setting up and leading its new service across Guildford, and the surrounding areas.

✅ What You’ll Be Doing
🚀 Business Setup & Growth
Lead the recruitment, selection, and induction of new carers, ensuring all safeguarding and compliance checks are completed
Deliver high-quality training aligned with the Care Certificate standards
Assist in selecting and implementing care management software
Plan and manage advertising and outreach to attract new service users
👥 Leadership & Management
Oversee daily operations of the domiciliary care service
Manage and support the care team, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities
Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and high-quality care
Maintain CQC compliance and quality assurance standards
❤️ Care Delivery
Ensure safe, effective care delivery with accurate documentation
Update company policies alongside senior management
Conduct care assessments, manage risk, and oversee safeguarding
Lead on infection control, health and safety, and complaints handling
📈 Service User & Service Development
Undertake home visits to assess needs and monitor quality
Develop person-centred care plans with service users, families, and professionals
Support business growth in line with company values
📋 Team Recruitment & Supervision
Recruit, induct, and supervise care staff
Manage rotas and staffing levels to ensure continuity
Share responsibility for the on-call rota, including out-of-hours support
Requirements
👤 About You
Essential
NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager in domiciliary (home) care
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and legal requirements
Excellent organisational, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Full UK driving licence (no more than 3 penalty points)
Desirable
Train the Trainer qualification
