Job Description - Registered Home Manager

A fantastic opportunity for a Registered Home Manager to work within specialist care services. The role requires a skilled individual to oversee the smooth running of a care home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance, in line with company vlues. You will be responsible for managing staff, budgets, and ensuring the satisfaction and wellbeing of residents in Stockport.

They are a small-sized entity committed to delivering exceptional care and support for individuals in need, with a strong focus on community and quality services. The Registered Home Manager will work with stakeholders to safeguary and promote the welfare of children.

Description

Duties of the Registered Home Manager:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the residential home in Stockport, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide strategic oversight to maintain high-quality care and support services for all residents.
  • Supervise and motivate staff, fostering a positive and effective working environment.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including families, healthcare professionals, and regulators.
  • Implement and monitor policies and procedures to ensure best practices are followed consistently.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of residents and staff at all times.
  • Address concerns and feedback, resolving issues promptly and professionally.

Profile

A successful Registered Home Manager should have:

  • A recognised qualification in healthcare or management, such as NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent.
  • Level 5/ LMC - NVQ Level 4
  • Experience working with BESD children
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, including CQC standards.
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional care and support services.

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, £100k OTE
